Rand Merchant Bank introduces robots into the bank

Rand merchant bank is focusing on robots as one of the way to improve the banks overall performance and to present operations,since robots can master everything ,tasks that are performed manually and are well suited for many tasks performed by employees.

Another advantage is that robots are also easy to introduce to software IT systems and can work efficiently and effective,for example 10 robots were introduced to 14 projects that include capturing four clients processes , Others have taken over some of the repetitive tasks of compliance, manual billing, financial data consolidation and reporting.

    The invention of Robots is a good thing because it saves time but this will lead to job losses. One robot will be doing a job that is meant for 10 people and the bank will see no use of keeping people that don't have work to do as a result they will be retrenched.

    Invention of Robots is not a good thing as we are currently facing high unemployment rate. This will contribute more, just imagine those people that will lose their jobs. As this Robots will be doing a work that was meant for more people.

    As much as there are benefits to these new technology inventions the way I see it in the near future there wont be any job vacancies available for humans-and that scares the hell out of me!
